From Sacramento to Folsom to Roseville, always know the best places to play music in the region.

SacMusic was launched in January 2019 with the hope of making it easier to find open mics and jams in Sacramento. The site serves the greater Sacramento area, from Folsom to Rocklin, to Davis and Woodland, and all the way down to Elk Grove.

Our mission is to build a better Sacramento music scene that is accessible to our region's musicians and community. I've put countless hours into building the best open mic and jam listing platform in the Sacramento region.

The Most Complete List

SacMusic has the most complete list of Open Mics and Jams in the region. We have gone out of our way to find as many events as possible, and have personally attended most of them to confirm details.

Better Event Information

Too often, important information is missing from open mic and jam descriptions. We list signup times, house instrument availability and age restrictions for all of our events.

Mobile-First Design

Cell phones are becoming the primary devices for more people every day. SacMusic's fast-loading app-like design makes it easy for anyone to get information on Sacramento's open mics and jams.

Maps and Directions

Life is hard. Getting to the venue shouldn't be. SacMusic has a built-in interactive map for each event, a one-click button to launch Google directions, and a button to copy the address to plug into your map app of choice.

Tonight's Events First

On SacMusic.com, you'll never need to click through a calendar or scroll through a long list to see what open mics and jams are happening tonight. As soon as you land on the site, you'll see tonight's events right away.

Free to List

Most organizers hosting open mics and jam aren't making a dime off of them. To show these organizers our appreciation for contributing to the sac music scene, it's free to list open mics and jams on SacMusic.com.

I've played music as a hobby for over a decade, and it's always felt difficult to meet musicians and find out how to get involved. I built SacMusic.com because I wanted to leverage my experience to make it as easy as possible to perform and participate in Sacramento's music scene.
